50th Anniversary Homosassa Arts, Crafts & Seafood Festival 2025
The 50th Anniversary Homosassa Arts, Crafts & Seafood Festival will be an amazing celebration. Planned for November 8-9, 2025, the festival is held in quaint Old Homosassa on the grounds of the Homosassa Civic Center. It offers a juried art show, handmade crafts and jewelry, edible crafts, delicious seafood, beer, raffles, a Kids Zone and live music.
Isn’t it cool that you can visit with the artists, learn about various creative techniques and even snag an autograph? Folks who bring edible crafts, soaps, lotions and candles often give tips for using their products in surprising ways. Jewelry designers have many one-of-a-kind pieces to show. Plan enough time to see the vendors, take a live music break and then head back out for more great shopping and dining. (And yes, you can dance on the lawn by the bandstand!)

How did the festival get started? In 1975, Homosassa Civic Club president and artist Eppie Boatwright suggested that the club host an art show as an annual fundraiser. The inaugural show was a great success and soon, area fishing captains joined in to cook local seafood. That partnership became the Annual Homosassa Arts, Crafts and Seafood Festival. It is held on the second weekend of November. 2025 will be the festival’s golden anniversary.
Put the 2025 Festival on your calendar right now. Keep checking back for new additions of must-see entertainment, exhibits and activities at 50th anniversary Festival. One thing about Homosassa….we don’t rush. So, the festival fun will keep growing right up to November 8.

Proceeds from the festival go back to our community through scholarships for adult learners and graduating seniors, donations to support the work of other local organizations, holiday events for both children and seniors, plus emergency services. Thus, a $5.00 donation is requested. Please leave your pets at home. The club has long been known for the immeasurable volunteer spirit of its members. In 2024, the Civic Club became Hurricane Relief Center Central for the entire Homosassa community. With the support of then-Senator Marco Rubio, Senator Rick Scott, Representative Gus Bilirakis, state and local government agencies, the American Red Cross, Mercy Kitchens, local businesses, United Way of Citrus County, the Citrus County Chamber of Commerce and so many more, the flood-ravaged Homosassa Civic Club set up relief services in the parking lot for approximately 5 weeks. Basic cleaning supplies, food, clothes, bedding and tools were provided. Staff from Senator Rubio’s office and FEMA met with people who had lost everything to begin recovery plans.(Check out Hurricane Relief Center page on this website.)
Now, back to joy, fun and food of the 50th anniversary festival. Here are some pictures that tell it all!
